Product and Album Review Guide
PRODUCT AND ALBUM REVIEW GUIDE
WhatDaDizzle.com reviews products, albums and services in order to help your business grow. Before you send off your well-crafted products, there are a few things you need to consider before doing so.
- Although we will not print any libelous statements about your product or company, we reserve the right to write anything negative we find about the product in a fair, courteous, and professional manner, and we are under no obligation to write a glowing, positive review about any product or service. If you don’t see a review for what you sent us, don’t feel bad, we figure it’s better than us writing a poor review of your product or album.
- We will consider the following products: Albums (all genre’s), electronics, books, paintings, clothing, services (complimentary tickets), shows (complimentary tickets). *If the seats are in the nosebleed section, forgetaboutit!
- Your product can come from anywhere in the world… so long as YOU pay for the shipping and insurance cost. If we never receive it, or it arrives damaged we’ll contact you.
- The mention of your product on WhatDaDizzle.com does not grant your company any claim to advertising or any other sort of “presence” on WhatDaDizzle.com.
- We reserve the right to inform our readers that the product was sent to us, so they may evaluate reviews accordingly.
- Your product(s) will NOT be returned. DO NOT expect us to return the product even if we decide not to write about the product. We will likely donate any item with a retail value over $40 to a local social service agency, shelter or may hold contest in which your product will be given away.
- We will also donate any unused nonperishable product to any food pantry in Colorado we see choose.
- We base our reviews on our experience with your product, nothing else.
- If you send us multiple items (3, 4 or more individual product items), we may split the product review into two or more parts at our discretion.
- We will NOT submit our review to your company for approval.
- We ask that your product(s) be available for purchase or coming very soon. (CHECK WITH US) This means at least one physical, brick-and-mortar location and/or on an Internet website.
PERFORMING ARTS AND ALBUM REVIEW
Until the successful launch of WhatDaDizzle.com, local artist were struggling to reach the audience. WhatDaDizzle.com gives local artist the exposure they need, some artist are calling us, the “Launch Pad,” and it’s our mission to revitalize and build a stronger community interface through exposure, programs, products, and services that inspire others to make a positive impact on their community.
RATING SYSTEM & STANDARDS IN EXCELLENCE
WhatDaDizzle.com rate albums on several factors, which are:
- Album art
- Production
- Creativity
- Lyrics
Grand total = 5
“The Dizzle” stamp of approval: This is a prestigious mark aimed at recognizing outstanding civic engagement, contributions and community service. Artist who obtain this mark aren’t judge purely off their talent- their character is also considered during evaluation of albums, business, service and performing arts. We recommend you support those who receive this mark because they support you, your community or some nonprofit organization that serves the community.
How we review: While some reviewers listen to your album in a day and write a review claiming you deserve 5 star rating, we typically listen to an album a few days before writing the review. We’ve found that this allows for the “hype” to settle and a more thorough and fair review to take place, which may earn you a higher or lower rating.
Though we love digital links to music, we prefer to review the album via hard copy. Some of us aren’t caught up on technology and having a hard copy of the album will allow us sufficient time to review it by not only listening to it in the office, but in our automobiles as well.
